Students collaborate with starchitect Daniel Libeskind to design university building

Dramatic interlocking volumes and sharp angles mark the recently opened green-roofed Central Building at Leuphana University in Germany. Studio Libeskind designed the project in a seminar with students at the university, where Libeskind works as a part-time professor, and created a distinctly Libeskind-esque zinc-clad building which will serve as an incubator for new ideas, innovation and research.
