IKEA unveils plan to lift 200,000 people out of poverty

When most people think of IKEA, the vision that comes to mind is usually one of affordable furniture and trendy home accessories. But what many people may not realize is that the company is also committed to some lofty social goals. In addition to the company’s work promoting sustainability, it turns out they’re also working on a plan to alleviate poverty for Syrian refugees and other disadvantaged people around the globe.
