Amber-tinted glass clads Gienckes extraordinary concert hall in Latvia

Liepaja, Latvia is making great strides in its efforts to construct a central cultural district for its residents. The centerpiece for this area is the stunning Great Amber Concert Hall, designed by Volker Giencke, whose walls are made of sparkling amber-colored glass. The cylindrical design of the hall is just as striking and inspirational as the events which occur inside.
