Fractured Antarctic ice sheet will create the largest iceberg ever recorded

Due to global warming and rising temperatures, glaciers are slowly melting and, in some cases, breaking apart. One formation affected by climate change is the Larsen C Ice Shelf, which has been breaking off a rift in Antarctica for the past week. Reportedly, the shelf has grown by 10.5 miles (17 kilometers) and is now 8 miles (13 kilometers) from the edge of the ice.
