Tiny Wirmboden chapel in Austria is made of stone sourced on-site

Nestled in an alpine valley in Western Austria, this tiny chapel offers an intimate space for the traditional consecration of local farmers and their livestock. After an avalanche destroyed the original building, including several other huts in 2012, the community decided to rebuild and commissioned Innauer-Matt Architects to design a space for gatherings and celebrations.
